My Garden

Ok so here's a run down on the garden...

From the top. 

There have been 2 rounds of planting. One right around May 10th and the other just about 10 days ago. Something like that. First week of June. So how's everything doing? Well, it's a mixed bag so far. And I think I might have solved the puzzle of two problems I'm having with the five I have in containers. Blossom drop and 3 completely stunted and spindly. As you can tell by the pictures below, they appear to be suffering from malnutrition as I may have erred by not fertilizing them or amending the soil but that's potting mix so it already had it in it. And the thing to do is to fertilize them at transplanting, when they blossom and as they set fruit so every week or two. I haven't added any to either types of soil and the three runts of the first litter were nano sized in the first place. Got them at a sale put on by high school horticulture kids. The other two were from HyVee. Funny how they produced those tiniest of tiny tomatoes 🍅🍅 then they stopped growing completely despite ample sunlight and regular watering. 

Look at the pepper plants they're sloooowwww to grow too. And you see how ungreen or light yellow three of them are? They might have been overcrowded as they each do best in 3 gallons of dirt per plant. They're all separated now with one going into the big white pot I'll call Pot number two. Haha. Then id have to number all of them. How about Number 2? Nah. That just sounds weird. I'm certainly not going full on garden geek by giving each container a name. That's going way too far.
